FAAS Audio - Fabrizio Annatelli | Last updated: March 2026
Overview
FAAS Audio ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we handle it. In short: we collect the bare minimum needed for license management, and nothing else.
1. Data collected by the Plugin
When you activate, deactivate, or revalidate a license, FAAS Hybrid transmits:
- Machine fingerprint - a hashed hardware identifier (not reversible to personal information)
- Device name - your computer's network name
- Hardware model - e.g. "MacBook Pro"
- OS username - your operating system login name
- Plugin version and build number
- IP address - collected automatically by the server
This data is used exclusively for license activation, fraud prevention, and technical support. It is stored on our license server (Cloudflare infrastructure, EU region).
2. Data NOT collected
The plugin does not collect, transmit, or access:
- Audio content, recordings, or project files
- Usage patterns, session duration, or feature analytics
- Preset data or sound design choices
- Files on your computer beyond the plugin binary itself
- Any data from your DAW or other software
3. Website analytics
This website (faas-audio.com) uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first analytics service that:
- Does not use cookies
- Does not track individual users
- Does not collect personal information
- Only measures aggregate page views, referrers, and performance metrics
No cookie banner is required because no cookies are set.
4. Purchase data
If you purchase a license, payment is processed by our Merchant of Record (third-party payment provider). We receive only your name, email address, and order ID for the purpose of generating your license key. We do not have access to your payment details (credit card, bank account, etc.).
5. Data retention
- License data (serial key, activation records): retained for the lifetime of the license
- Activity logs (activation/deactivation events): retained for fraud prevention and support purposes
- Customer information (name, email): retained until you request deletion
6. Third parties
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. Our infrastructure providers are:
- Cloudflare - website hosting, license server, database (EU region)
- Payment provider - processes purchases as Merchant of Record
7. Your rights (GDPR)
Under EU data protection law, you have the right to:
- Access - request a copy of all data we hold about you
- Rectification - correct inaccurate data
- Erasure - request deletion of your data
- Portability - receive your data in a structured format
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].
